OLÉ Field Research Expedition

The OLÉ (OnLine Expeditions) Field Research Expedition is a simulated science inquiry experience that models the use of community resources to enhance the K-12 science curriculum. This module exemplifies how videoconferencing technology can be used to access remote locations and human resources.

Module Goals:

  • To gain an understanding of how videoconferencing technology can support the research process.
  • To practice the skills necessary to effectively conduct videoconferences that support teaching and learning.
