of ubiquitous computing on education. They have built a prototype
classroom environment and the necessary software infrastructure
to seamlessly capture much of the rich interaction that occurs

Journey North is a science education program that uses the
Internet to track migration and signs of spring. Students in
classrooms across North America share their own observations
of the changing seasons. Now in its
7th season, this program was not possible before Internet technology.
